Giorgio Araujo … “An entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in international sales”.
It all started in 1992 when Giorgio Araujo decided to venture into the business of peppers, processing and exporting for industrial end users, and as raw materials for very large companies such as Unilever, Nestle, Badia, Goya, Steak and Shake, Pollo Tropical, BG Foods-Trappeys, TW Garner-Texas Pete, Grace Kennedy others.
Giorgio innovated extensively in pepper activities, specially agricultural developments, as well as hot sauces and drying technologies. -Including in all these developments was the now famous Amazon Pepper Sauces which he introduced in 1994 and which it now sells in over 28 countries-.
After years in the big industry, Giorgio started again his own operation, and now with plenty of expertise and focusing on Pepper Ingredients production at his Amazing Valley Corporation (agriculture, processing, sales, logistics and R&D teams of a lifetime).

Giorgio Araujo founded Comexa Foods and started the company on the basis of growing peppers for industrial purposes in Cartagena de Indias – Colombia.
1994

Giorgio Araujo envisioned a higher calling for the industrial pepper he was producing, experiments were
taking place, and that is when his Amazon Pepper Sauces were born.

A new and modern amply plant was built in Barranquilla – Colombia.
2013

Comexa Foods-Amazon Pepper was sold to Colombina S.A., which is one of the largest and most reputable food companies in Colombia. Giorgio Araujo became the Colombina Pepper House Sales Director until Feb 2021.

Giorgio Araujo, GiO Corp, starts again his own operations, with his Amazing Valley Corp, now with plenty of expertise and together with his team of a life time.
